The use of plastic equipment in IVF

There are at least 30 plastic items involved in every IVF procedure. The number is actually higher if one calculates the plastic drums, bags, etc., that are in play when the raw materials for the culture media are produced and when ancillary devices such as gloves and covers for the ultrasound probe at the clinic are counted.
